There are many factors to be taken into consideration in running a business or setting up a new company. These include finance, marketing, management and administration, personnel and production. Of course, there are many legal aspects to consider also.

We shall also be on hand to assist you in deciding whether your interests would best be served by either forming a company or entering into a partnership by taking you through the advantages and obligations of each entity.

Doyle & Company will be more than willing to advise and guide you on the following areas of your business:

Forming a limited company and registering a trade name
Preparing partnership agreements
Commercial agreements such as share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements agency, franchising and distribution agreements
Leases for industrial, office and retail units
Commercial loans, finance and dealing with financial institutions
Employers' rights and obligations
Employees' contracts, rights and entitlements
Debt collection
Any other legal aspect of running a business

In addition to the above, Irish company law underwent a dramatic change with the introduction of the Company Law Enforcement Act in 2001 whose aim is to increase the regulation of business by company law.

The Act has imposed various obligations on officers of a company and related individuals such as auditors and has also created the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement who has been given the responsibility of ensuring compliance with the various provisions of the Companies Acts.

At Doyle & Company, we are in a position to advise anyone considering the formation of a company of the various rights and obligations that will be imposed in relation to corporate compliance together with the responsibilities of both Directors and Secretaries.
